Neil Uchitel is a nice Jewish boy who, at a young age and of his own accord became a Christian and joined a Black, Reformed, Charismatic, Pentecostal church. As a result, his family made him read books by Abba Eban and Rabbi Kertzer, and then, was sent to a psychologist. He and the psychologist had some nice talks, and eventually the psychologist gave up. In time, so did his family. Uchitel graduated from U.S.C. with a BM and MM in Music Composition, and now writes music and creates sound effects for TV commercials for a living. During the dot-com crash, when he had some quality time to reflect upon his chosen profession, he crawled his way to back to the safe womb of the university, studying for a Post-Baccalaureate Classics at U.C.L.A. He once thought about getting his Ph.D. religious anthropology, but…well…oh to heck with it! He has no pets but has a wonderful wife who like his own personal rock star. He dreams longingly of diving the Bikini Atoll so that he can stand on the deck of sunken aircraft carrier blown to hell by good ol’ American ingenuity. Other than that, he is generally considered by most of his closest friends to be a jackass. He could qualify that, but he won’t.
